2015 Week of Service Neighborhood Cleanup a Success

REAP Trash BagA truckload of trash was collected on Saturday, April 11, 2015, as neighbors joined with students to cleanup the neighborhood.

Thanks to Wiles Hill-Highland Park neighbors including: Anders, Ann, Dave, Jane, Kitty, Randy, Richard, and Wes, as well as the WVU student group who helped.

A special thanks to the WVU Center for Service and Learning, WVU Student Government Association and the City of Morgantown for supporting the event.

Make a difference in your neighborhood: Help with a spring cleanup

A neighborhood trash cleanup will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015, in partnership with WVU’s Week of Engagement Kickoff. Neighbors, including WVU students from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. are asked to help, spread the word, and participate. Gloves, bags, and supplies will be provided. Dress appropriately. Gather and start at 287 Eureka Drive. Limited parking is available on site. (View a map.)

  • Meet at the Gazebo across from the Wiles Hill Senior & Community Center at 287 Eureka Drive.
  • This event will be held rain or shine.
  • Suggest cleanup sites by Thursday, April 9.
